It's hard to read topics and posts on high resolutions, setting the width to 800px and centering makes it better readable, have a look:

To make it look like this add in css this code:

Code: Select all
body { max-width: 800px !important; margin: 0px auto; }

Probably adding this code to this file should be enough: styles/prosilver/theme/normal.css

Or you can just change the size of your browser window :-).

But then you get distracted by other applications in background, most people use browser in maximized mode (at least regular users). I used to use smaller browser window, but now I don't :) I can focus better with just one window in front of me. Also when resizing window you will get into mix of troubles with some websites, they all require different widths, once in a while you have to resize your window to some big width, otherwise you can't read the content, some websites look better in high resolutions as they have a nice background.

100% may not be ideal but I think this is the very least of anybodies issues. I have no problem with it running on a 27" monitor and can live with it.
