Support persistence of core HTML5 features

Postby v4556 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 8:29 pm

Although CEF supports HTML5 features such as webdatabase and application cache, it doesn't persist the data across sessions. This is a problem for applications that really want to take advantage of these nice features. The only HTML5 storage feature that has support for persistence in CEF seems to be localstorage. Please support persistence for webdatabase and application cache. Are there any limitations in CEF that make it hard to support this? Was wondering because localstorage is already supported.

This thread says it is fixed but I am not seeing it working..

I downloaded following from http://www.magpcss.net/cef_downloads/

cef_binary_1.1364.1123_windows.7z date Mar 3, 2013
and
cef_binary_3.1453.1255_windows.7z date May 8, 2013

with both these versions, DB persistence across sessions is not working.

Will appriciate any help on this regard

You need to specify a CefSettings.cache_path value.
