Problem with input Chinese characters in flash plug-ins

Postby webavatar » Sat May 05, 2012 11:33 pm

I make a html page with a embedded flash. ( just like some web page game with flash)
There is a input box (TextField) in the flash.
The problem is : I can't input Chinese characters in the flash's input box with Chinese IME. (English character is no problem)
I guess the same problem will be found with Japanese IME.
I used cef_binary_1.1025.607_windows and flash-player_11.2.202.233 in WIN7.

There is no problem in Chrome(20.0.1105.2 dev-m) with the same html page.
I take a searching for the problem with keywords "chrome flash 中文".
Someone said: There is no problem after chrome 9.0.597.98.
And someone said:"(http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/C ... 347f&hl=en)
Type about:plugins into address bar to go to Plugins page.
Click on Details link on the right.
Disable 10.2 or 10.1, whichever allows you to type Japanese IME"

Another said:"
Type about:plugins into address bar to go to Plugins page.
Click on Details link on the right.
Disable "\xxx\gcswf32.dll", Enable "\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll"
It will work."

How can I resolve this problem in CEF?

Please add an issue to the CEF issue tracker.

This is likely not a problem with CEF3 but I haven't tested it.
