passwordless login using yubikey with cef

Hi All,

I have downloaded cef sample application from http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/index.html, and using it for passwordless login to microsoft account using yubikey 5 series.

observations.

1.Tried logging-in to microsoft acoount with an already registered yubikey.

Found the below error in browser
"We had a problem authenticating you. Please try again."

Below warning is found in console.log.
"Message: publicKey.userVerification was not set to any value in Web Authentication navigator.credentials.get() call. This defaults to 'preferred', which is probably not what you want. If in doubt, set to 'discouraged'. See https://chromium.googlesource.com/chrom ... eferred.md for details.

2. Tried registering a yubikey

found the below error.
"The security key you used is not supported. Make sure you have a Microsoft-compatible security key and try again."

Same passwordless authentication works fine with chrome browser. Is there anyway to do this in cef?

This is not currently supported in CEF.

Yes, if someone would like to contribute an implementation.

Is Injecting a javascript with options.authenticatorSelection.userVerification set to 'discouraged' would be a solution here?.

So, I understand this as FIDO2 is currently not supported. Is that right? Please let me know
