Build Errors Using Multi-Threaded DLL (/MD) CMake Option

Postby KKlouzal » Fri Nov 08, 2019 5:38 am

On windows 10, setting the CMake option "CEF_RUNTIME_LIBRARY_FLAG" to "/MD" causes over 2000 build errors relating to static vs dynamic linking errors in Visual Studio 2019.

What have I done wrong? Simply switching the option back to "/MT" and regenerating project files allows the entire project to build. Is this CMake option not provided for just this very purpose?
