I'm discovered newly introduced issue with CEF 57 release, and filed it issue #2122. It is self-contained and describes more fact, rather than resolutions.
This thread for finding acceptable way.
I'm still not checked CEF master (and do not plan do it just now). I'm add in issue simple C# source file, so may be some one can test it. Alternatively i'm can attach this compiled example to easy test. (I'm doesn't see at cs.chromium.org valuable code changes around ImportIATHook/EnumAllImports -> so doesn't believe that this will work at master.)
Probably another most annoying thing is that: no matter have you or do not have "crash_reporter.cfg" file - chrome_elf anyway do hacks over import tables until quack. So, from my point of view - it is another issue or task. From practical standpoint - ability to completely disable chrome_elf may be needed.
Any suggestions about how to resolve this are welcome.
PS: Also issue shows that cef_version_info & cef_api_hash functions triggers heavy codepaths, while they had been designed as lightweight version metadata.
