Window Not Showing Up For Test Application

So I am using java-7-oracle under Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. I first attempted this with the java-8-oracle package and it built perfectly fine.

But, after switching back down to java-7-oracle which gives me a jvm version of 1.7.0_80, I am not able to see the window. Everything builds perfectly find, but when I try to run the test application, only the running icon of a java application shows up. No panel, or browser, or anything. There is obviously a problem but I can not seem to find the error at all.
