Why JCEF binary downloads unavailable?

Postby clapas » Tue Dec 08, 2015 5:20 am

Hi,

after building various versions of JCEF myself, I decided to stick with the old, provided, JCEF 3.1750 version which used to be available for download from

http://www.magpcss.net/cef_downloads/index.php?query=label:Deprecated%20label:JCEF

The reason is because it has proven to be the more stable: no crashes, no layer rendering issues, no icudtl.dat problems, etc. Furthermore, it was nice to have the binary versions ready for the different platforms. Cross-compilation looks difficult to me.

I was lucky to download the linux64 version a few months ago, but now I wanted to get the binaries for other platforms and these downloads appear to be "temporarily unavailable".

My question is: how can I get those binaries?

Cheers

Marshall Greenblatt:

As stated on the cef_downloads page, "Deprecated Downloads are temporarily unavailable." Once that problem is fixed a very old (and deprecated) build of JCEF will again be available.

Any update on this?

For now you will need to build the binaries yourself.
