New tutorial on how to easily deploy a JCEF app

Hi there,

We've published a tutorial on how to easily deploy an app using JCEF to Windows, Mac and Linux using the Conveyor packaging tool and JCEF Maven:

https://hydraulic.software/blog/13-depl ... -jcef.html

Conveyor makes it as easy to deploy a desktop app as for a web app:

  • Builds, signs and notarizes your packages for every OS, from any OS (i.e. can go from a gradle/maven build to signed Mac apps from Windows/Linux and vice-versa).
  • Integrated support for auto update, without code changes.
  • Uses jlink and jdeps to bundle a minimized JVM.
  • Will download and bundle the CEF native binaries for each target automatically.
  • Many config options to control the results, but with smart defaults so you don't need to set them.

We added better JCEF support for a customer, and if you're also using JCEF you can certainly benefit from this tool.

It also works for native apps using regular CEF, you don't have to use a JVM!
