I am currently using html 5 js drag and drop functionality from desktop to chrome browser and vice versa.

Now, I need to drag and drop attachment from outlook to chrome browser. Is cef the way to do it? if yes could you point me to documentation or direction?

CEF is used for embedding a Chromium-based browser in other native applications. That doesn't sound like what you're looking for.
