I want to build commercial, closed-source application:

1) Can I use CEF binary distribution for that (can I close my code)?

2) Can I compile CEF statically and link it into my single executable? Will it violate the license?

Yes, provided you comply with the license.

That will likely violate the license of third-party software included with Chromium.
