Are you sure the quicktime plugin will work with a 64-bit build of Chromium? You might have better luck with a 32-bit build.

But it works in Google Chrome. Could there be a quicktime version suitable for the 64-bit build?

Does the plugin work in a 64-bit build of Google Chrome? If so, what is the path to that version of the plugin?

Not. It does not work in a 64-bit build of Google Chrome. Only 32 bit works.
