3rd parthy libs guegen and jogl: what are they for?

Postby betonetotbo » Thu Mar 09, 2017 9:01 am

After building JCEF I got this extra JARs:

jogl-all.jar
jogl-all-natives-windows-i586.jar
gluegen-rt.jar
gluegen-rt-natives-windows-i586.jar

Without them on classpath JCEF runs perfectly.
So, what are they for?

They're used with off-screen rendering.

And how can I use them? Have you an example of OSR?

Run the detailed example with the --off-screen-rendering-enabled command-line flag.

Ok, thanks. The last one question....

What is the difference between them in terms of "recommended", what version should I use and why?

Do you mean windowed vs off-screen? Windowed is probably better for most use cases.
