Read Cache

Im looking for a way sort of like how this guy did it

to be able to read through the cache and be able to edit it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to being able to read through the cache files and display/edit the content?
i know were the cache files are located i just cant seem to figure out how to decompile through the hex dumps of the cache any1 know anything?

thanks im checking it out now im not much of a cpp guy would you know what classes could interest me?
