Title for a specific web page is showing Junk Characters.

Postby Gagan » Fri Dec 20, 2013 5:58 am

Hi,

We have developed a WPF application over cefglue library and then we're trying to fire up a URL: "http://www.exterminal.co.kr/popup.asp?idx=51".
The title of this URL is showing junk characters.

Is there anything that we're missing out (for eg, any setting or parameter value)?

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks!

1. I'm not sure that CEF are contains some mechanism to force encoding, like you can do it in browser.
2. Specified page are did not define encoding not via headers and not via meta tags and even not via content's BOM-mark. Just use *correct* definition of encoding.

PS: This probably can be workaround by proxifying requests and re-encode response with selected encoding.
