Question about CefRenderHandler's default GetScreenPoint etc

I've been wondering, with off screen rendering / CefRenderHandler, what happens when I use the default implementations for GetRootScreenRect and GetScreenPoint? As far as I can tell, cefclient implements them on Mac but not Windows, and when I've been doing the same. But I'm curious to know what is going on behind the scenes (like, Is CEF doing the conversion by querying some other object), and also what I would gain from implementing them myself.

edit: I should probably at CefRenderHandler::GetScreenInfo() to that list too... does CEF gather this info some other way?
